Banfield is not a pet hospital it's a dog and cat hospital they don't do birds anymore I don't know what else they do but they definitely don't do birds anymore so if you have a bird forget about going to Banfield have a great day.

I’m highly disappointed in this vet I live in Maine as it’s a two hour drive one way, I have discovered my dog “pitty” is highly allergic to grass… I can’t just drive there to get his allergy pills as I have to buy them off chewy and there outta stock so I had to order them off 1800pet meds and there still waiting for my dogs doctor to sign for them as I sit here two days now and I get when I called a recipient’s that was not helpful saying she would see if his doc would sign for them and hung up… I’m glade I spent all this money for this kinda service… i glade they care for there patients as I had issues with them trimming his nails that now way pass due… like I said I’m NOT LOCAL and can’t just go there…. My dog is just as important as the rest that go there and get treat like he not…. Thanks Banfield…. I’m very unimpressed…

I have always loved bringing my pets here as the staff are friendly, but as of today I’m done. It’s been a battle for months getting appointments, their solution is always “drop off for the day” as if people don’t have lives and pets want to spend all day at the vet in a kennel. I had a vet tell me “just pop in it’s a 2 second injection” only for the front desk to turn us away and say the vet was incorrect. Then today I come in for a bandage change after 2 attempts at an appointment and they charged me TWICE what the ER vet charged me despite having a wellness plan (which is also a joke). $75 just for a paw bandage change. Asked them to take a pic of the wound and email it to me since they STILL don’t allow you with your pet, and they “forgot”. Do yourself a favor and find another office.

Their "plans" are a huge scam. They'll conveniently schedule you just after it expires so you have to renew for hundreds of dollars for your visit to be covered. Better yet, if it isn't covered, they'll ask for a $50 "visit fee" after they tell you a doctor isn't even available to see your pet for their annual visit! Place is an absolute joke. Save your time and sanity for a vet practice who won't rip you off.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
Hi Haley - Thanks for reaching out! The hospital will be your best source for pricing information, but for a rough estimate on certain services, you can also use our pricing calculator here: https://www.banfield.com/our-hospitals/services-pricing#/pricingwidget
We believe that preventive care is the most effective way to keep your pet healthy throughout all stages of life. Our pet hospitals offer many preventive care treatments, including: • Vaccinations • Dental Care • Parasite Control • Nutritional Counseling • Behavioral Counseling • Comprehensive Examinations
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
My kitten got the wellness plan and had routine checkups and I have had alot of good results with the prevention care. Hes hasn't gotten sick from anything but indigestion yet and hes almost a year old.
All depends on your plan, where you are in the plan, and what tests you have remaining for the plan year. The front desk can answer that quickly for you.
I've been going here for 2 years and have come at different times of day. NEVER has the VET areas been dirty!! Maybe PetSmat may have been disarray on the way to VET areas! I would never bring my pet to a dirty facility!
