Excellent place to shop. Could tell the staff was knowledgeable. Lots of parts, individual pieces. And a track bending machine for those angles you're struggling with.

I had to make a train purchase as a gift over the phone. I had no knowledge of train sets. I spoke with Dennis and he helped tremendously. He was very patient, kind, resourceful and helped to build a great train set! I would highly recommend this store for trains. Excellent selection and customer service!!!! He even sent me a picture as soon he had my purchase together!

Wonderful Place! So many cool model trains from G Scale, HO, O, and N. Everyone there is super friendly and was very nice when helping me purchase stuff. I called ahead and asked if they could reserve something for me, and they gladly did. I bought their N Scale Kato Southern Pacific Lines Morning Daylight 10-Car Set, and I couldn’t be happier with it. They have a small n scale layout in the back of the store for kids to drive trains on, and their is a wooden Thomas the tank engine play table in the front. Just walking around the place is amazing. I would greatly recommend this model train store to everyone!

The best. Today was the last day of operations at the old store. It was quite an emotional event. I was here for the construction of the outdoor Railway and the first day of public operation and then here on the last. My youngest son who is now 24 had his picture in the paper with former owner Alice when he was 2 years old for one of the first public train shows. I didn't see any of the original faces from years ago. This place holds a lot of magic for thousands of people who have even made this a tourist destination over the years. I sure hope business continues to thrive especially with its Diversified offering of being called a toy store also and it's able to capitalize on the changes in the American Retail Landscape. Best of luck H&R!

Yes Monday - Saturday 10 am to 5 pm.
Have to take to the store, but yrs they do.
We only have a couple of items. Hornby is a brand we do not stock. Sorry we can't be of much help.
According to their website the ship in US only via USPS or Fedex. And they 231+ items to purchase via web. If something else is needed, I would contact them via phone. I live in Spring Hill and they are very helpful even over the phone. Hope this helps.
The shopkeepers wore masks, seemed to be as socially distant as the store allowed.
Hello Cody, Currently we only have a few small pieces, but we are able to order in military depending on what you are looking for. Please call us or stop in so we can help find what you are looking for.
Cr Wi I am sorry we have not gotten back to you. If you are looking to sell we do have list set aside to call as soon as we pick up buying again. Also Dennis is in on Monday and he is the best person to speak to. Although most of us have a general idea he would be the best to make an appointment with. We would definitely like to hear what is in your collection as we stock up for season. Robert we would also like to hear from you as well. Like stated above Dennis the best to speak to and is in all day Monday. Thank you to our fans for helping respond. Google is not as easy to respond quickly to as other platform. Happy Railroading!
Yes they still have this service avalible
Tony is right about bringing it in first. We can check out the engine and possibly the power supply. We can bench test to ensure it is a power supply issue. Hope to see you soon! Happy Railroading! Edit: Scott, give us a call. 7275264682 We do send people out however there are some steps to take before we send anyone to a site. Also we might be able to diagnose the issue by asking a few questions. It might be a simple fix. Thank you.
We agree with Frank. If you have the time and know your way around eBay, that is the way to go. Also depending on the condition of any buy we do, we might have to put time in to repairing or conditioning to get to our wanted value to be able to sell. So there is a lot to consider when we price items to buy. Where as like Frank said, you can make what you are looking for through eBay. We hope that whatever you decide it leads to trains still running. As we like to say, Happy Railroading! :)
Definitely go to H & R Trains. If they don't have it they can usually get it for you. They have been very helpful on all of our needs.
