G4S is an exceptional company to work for. I've been with them for 14 months now. Before applying I read a mixture of reviews. Some of the reviews were positive, some negative. If your an individual who is disciple, detail oriented, can think on your feet for yourself when an occasion presents itself to do so and have the ability to fulfill a multitude of post orders and enjoy a challenging profession then this is the company and career for you!

I have no complaints, G4S is a large company with many opportunities if you work hard and prove yourself. They do cater towards ex-military and ex-law enforcement, but if you work hard you can make a career of it even without military or law enforcement experience. The training and hiring process can be long and you won't get paid for it, except forty hour D license if you're already have a D license (pay of 40 hour D license class is contingent) If you're interested in getting into the security field you won't find a better place to get trained and experience.

I decided not to work for them last month, they call me back wanting me to work and threw a large amount of money in my face so I give it a shot since my lady is about to give birth to our daughter on 12/4 (we need the money) so I was waiting for them because deployment I was told was about to happen and i was training and doing classes for 3 weeks for nothing because they refused giving me a job and I was giving them their uniform they told me to hold it then after refusing employment they want me to go back to drop it off and they haven't paid me for the training I did since I have my D license already I called 5 or more times and left many messages but no one hasn't returned any of my calls. Workers here are absolutely expendable this company doesn't care for you.

Great company in all regards except communication. They could be much better at communicating with their employees, and tend to be a little disorganized. Otherwise, the training is great and the higher-ups really get stuff done.
