Glad we drove out of the way wonderful information plaques area kept nice no bathrooms but well worth the trip wonderful history every one should go n enjoy and learn very nice walking n biking trails

I used to come up here all the time just to relax at the barn and take photos but now people have destroyed it. I wonder how they care for the rest of this place but let the barn be destroyed. They have already knocked one of the joists loose. You think it's bad now. Wait till it falls on someone.

This is park has beautiful view of the surrounding area. It is literally right across the street from the Blue Grass Army Depot. It is very well maintained. The office staff have constantly gone above and beyond all my expectations. One last thing, the restrooms are the cleanest, best smelling restrooms I have ever had the pleasure to use.

The main house on the property might be available for something like that.
Yes and they do have some paths that are mowed that a good mountain bike could handle. My son takes his battery powered ATV and goes on that path a lot.
Paved trail. Should provide an excellent spot for jogging.

It is completely free with the very rare exception of a few events..... But the park itself is public.
I don't know if they will let anybody do it or not . Call the Parks and Recreation in Richmond , Kentucky and they will tell you .

There's a pond beside the old barn where the Pow-Wows are held. You should probably get permission to fish there before casting your line. Ask at the old home. In Kentucky you need a license to fish most places.
Less than 10 miles. It is between Berea and Richmond on Big Hill. Tight off hwy 421. Might take 15 minutes to travel
