It is your insurance that may require a referral, not the physician. Most HMO plans require referral, just call your insurance company and ask if a referral is needed and if the Dr you want to see is covered. Dr. Olarte is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!

absolutely we do CMC joint surgery. It is the most common joint we treat and if our usually successfully non-surgical protocols aren't working, we are willing and able to treat this problem surgically. it is one of the most satisfying surgeries we do- for both the patient and doctor. resuming golf is an expectation
