I had the pleasure of flying with Alaska West Air via a fly-in fishing package with Jimmie Jack’s Fishing and this trip was truly exceptional. Duncan was our pilot and he made flying the DHC-2 Beaver look like a walk in the park. The scenery was phenomenal and it was a nice comfortable flight across the Inlet to the fishing spot. Everyone at the lodge who did the fly-in was also talking about what an incredible experience it was. I’d recommend this trip to anyone, any day.

What a fun flight to go fish and sight see!!! The staff was great and friendly! There were no high speed dog fights, so if you are looking for that "top gun" experience this isn't the place. Maybe if you tip them enough they will let you shoot slingshots at other planes, but I'm not sure. Can't hurt to ask though. But they were amazing. Downside, you can't capture a bear and take it on the plane ride with you.
