Beautiful Park in the middle of the busy town. We went super early in the morning and it was really quiet. The view of the lake from this park is great. There is also great parking for this park right next to it. The park is free by the way, which is rare to find in the area. There is basketball court and a football field as well. We found the baseball monument of the two teams here too. Pretty neat place to visit.

I went there this morning, very peaceful to walk along, met two nice ladies and they introduced me to the park rangers. You can go fishing, the water display is awesome, it sprinkles you as you’re walking on the bridge. The ducks are friendly, beautiful view, will go back.

Great new monument installed comimerating the first interracial little league game played in the south. 1954 society still segregated an all black team competed against a white team. Park also has a great playground and putting course.
