Taped information says Visitor's Center is open regular hours. It is NOT open at all currently. You'd think they'd have the brains and attention to service to update their messaging.

Unhelpful money suckers. Bought a city pass with 4 tickets and 3 day bus pass. For 96 $. Managed to lose it after using 1 ticket. I still had my receipt. So went back to them to theme in atempt to get a new one. Unhelpful as they where that one expencive trip to the aquarium. Do not buy anything from them. If you loose something, they will not help you. Worst receptant of the city.

A great place to get lots of material, brochures and information about all the tourist places in San Francisco and the vicinity. One good investment if travelling within San Francisco is the Muni Passport. Gives unlimited access to Muni services including buses, cable cars, historical cars and metro. Comes in 1/3/7 days, it's really convenient and well worth the money. Staff is particularly helpful in the center to explain everything.

Get to the MacArthur BART Station by bus on Hollis St. Then use the BART underground until your reach the Civic Center. The hotel should be a block away.
Normally businesses contact local shops to have them produced for the event.
Of course. Everybody is Welcome. Just leaf the unnesseray things at home.
Yes, there are several companies that provide private tours and information is available from the Visitor Center on Pier 39. Also, via the website.
There is no Amtrak in San Francisco. You'll have to go to Emeryville. From San Francisco Powell Street stop (on BART), you can catch the Amtrak bus that takes you to the Emeryville station.
They offer plenty of excusions. I feel you should ask them when you walk in. They helped me out at the time to book my excursion last minute too.
Sorry, i'm a bit out of the local schedule.
There are maps at this location to take with you and San Fran is a great walking location. China town is quite large. So lots to walk.
Salesforce Dreamforce 2018 Conference Dates Mon, Sep 24 – Fri, Sep 28 About 100,000 people come to it. Try AirBNB in the outlying areas.
Powell Street is the main station although there are other BART stops like Civic, and Embarcadero along Market. Lots of hotels close to all 3 of these.
Hi there-Yellowstone is in a completely different state. Yosemite tours can be booked at this center-it's a long day though-it's an 8 hour drive, which leaves you with about 4 hours in the park.
You should check out the official San Francisco website and visit one of their kiosks. They have amazing maps and information for visitors. Their personnel is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. San Francisco public transport is amazing and reliable. You will be able to go and see all the wonderful sites San Francisco has to offer, enjoy your time there
