How in the world can this company get away with ripping people off. Six months ago I had cameras installed around the house and not once have I seen an LCEC employee come by to read the old meter. LCEC Stop ESTIMATING how much electricity we use and send someone to read the meter because I bet my bill is not over $450.

Lee County Electric Cooperative is the absolutely most predatory company I have ever had the displeasure of being forced to do business with. Most places just charge a standard late fee, but LCEC has fees on top of fees on top of fees, as if its true intention is actually to make it impossible to pay your electric bill. And if you complain about LCEC's horrible business practices, or ask to see where you agreed to pay these exorbitant fees in the contract you signed, they put you on a blacklist to have your power turned off when you're late on a single payment. I'm talking literally before the next payment has even come due, in the middle of summer in Florida. (And don't forget the extra $50 added to your next bill for having to turn your power back on after it should've never been turned off in the first place.) Lastly, if you ask to speak with a supervisor, they try call you one single time and don't even leave a voicemail with any information to call them back. In a perfect world, I could hire an attorney to investigate possible legal action, but sadly, I'm just your average millennial with way too many bills and way too many deductions from my paycheck. Thanks for nothing but being the absolute worst, LCEC.

Horrendous customer service. I paid my bill, EARLY by three days & they proceeded to take out the month of June AND July, although we hadn't even began the month of July at the time. I called to discuss the matter and the customer service representative had zero professionalism and essentially said its not their problem and to figure it out myself. I called the bank, they were more than happy to help dispute the charges I DID NOT authorize and place a stop payment to LCEC for the next 18 months. Thankful the bank could do something since their employees are useless.

Would give zero stars if I could have had lcec for 4 years and been over them since the beginning....hit me for a 650 dollar deposit when theyalready have a 200 deposit from original turn on and this all started all of a sudden once they found out I got a solar system installed...my bill is over 400 every single month when was always around 200 I replaced my entire ac system and nothing changed the bill crazy!!.. horrible customer service I mean terrible!! Then to top it all off inl paid a bill and they reversed it said I bounced a check which I've never paid them with a check in my life...now I can no longer pay on the app and have to sit through the 10 minute pay by phone menu for no reason for a year they said. Usually have to call multiple times bc their system hangs up on u mid call!! Can't wait for my solar to be turned on and get a battery so I can charge lcec for the returned power instead of them absolutely rapping my bank account monthly

No, this company's rated 1.5 stars for a reason, cape coral near embers and mariner high school no power no water 6th day now
Power restored . found out from a friend they are checking every line to all the homes on that run in our case there were three other issues on our road that were in need of being cut and cleaned before connecting.
Not good
Unsure about their solar programs, I can say their rates are outrageous...run!
No
Unfortunately the answers that you are seeking will not be answered through this questionnaire on Google that will have to be a customer service phone call or an e-mail to their facility and I don't think it is wise for you to place your address out here publicly for all reasons of privacy concerns
That depends on whether it's on your property, or the right of way of the county, or lcec. I'd call em theyll have someone come out and look. Be prepared if it's your palm tree they can and have the legal right to chop it completely off regardless if it's on your property or not.
Call LCEC you'll pay a deposit and they'll connect you.
Yes, if you are a linemen
No. https://www.lcec.net/my-home/manage-my-account/payment-options
You can be sure lcec had AC in there rooms last night and water and time and half or double time
