First time in today and felt completely welcomed by the staff! When I entered, they asked if I was looking for anything in particular and then was immediately pointed in the direction I needed. They have a ton of books, as well as other items like cds, tapes, dvds, puzzles, etc. They have a “signed” book section and a “collectible” one right next to it, which housed a lot of vintage hardback books with unique covers. As for pricing, they are comparable with Amazon.com, which in my opinion I would rather support a local family owned business than order offline out of convenience. Ultimately, they have loads of inventory and it seemed like they add new items frequently, so it is definitely a weekly/biweekly treasure hunt!

Great store and helpful staff. Everything you would want in a book store tucked away. I felt like I went back in time to that magical book store you find as a kid with everything you look for only to happen upon that old classic book that you were destined to find. 5/5 is not enough to describe how great this place is. Only sad point is its in Florida and not were I live, so I can only shop when on vacation in person.

First time coming here - they have a wide selection & the areas are organized very well, so you can easily find books that fit within your liking. I found about 20 that I wanted, and ended up picking 4 of them. They are clearly a popular location, as there were several people visiting during their lunch hour. Another cool thing is that they give 50 percent off - when you bring trade-in books. I definitely will be coming back!

Being a small bussines, they make thier own hours on the holidays... so you have a 50/50 chance they'll be open or closed.!?!?😜
For store credit, by grade and type, blu-rays are worth more than DVDs. But the credit can only be used for similar or lower grade items. So credit from DVDs can't be used on blu-rays. And you have to purchase something when you bring stuff in. I think it's $5 per box of stuff. Call them for more details.
Yes... They do carry "harlequin" romance novels, but not sure about the "medical romance" novels.
As of now, masks are required, if you don't wear a mask you will be asked to leave. They do offer curbside service and if you just forgot it they do have masks available. The store is marked with 6ft intervals and doors/counters/carts/baskets disinfected daily/hourly and as needed. Hand sanitizer readily available. Plexiglass surrounds the counter.
An average paperback is 3-5 hardcover 4-10, all depends on the book, it's condition, age, and rarity.
I do not know I do not read romance books but you can call them during there hours of operation and ask and they will tell you

You get a credit that you can use to purchase books. I have a large credit since I use my Kindle
Best Used Books does not buy or swap, they give you about 1/2 of what they can sell your books at in store credit(even if they don't need them-ie: James Patterson book that they have a ton of may get you less than half- they may not need it but will still take it) and then you can use that credit for up to half off, if you pick out a book that is priced $6 , you pay $3. As long as you don't bring in a bunch of national geos and try to take out the newest James Patterson you should be able to get half off that keeps their doors open, you get a new read, and helps you recycle all while helping a family run small Business going.
