After waiting over 6 hours in the ER, we were placed in a room that was very dirty and had vomit on the door. The bathroom had blood on the seat and I was told “just don’t sit down”. Even after reporting the vomit on the door, nothing was done. I’m truly disappointed by my recent visit

First and last time that I come to this hospital I had to bring a family member here because at Sandord Hospital the care is also terrible. The staff here need to be more friendly with patients and relatives, they talk to you as if you were nobody, not all the staff, but if some of them, for example, in the emergency room, they have a Hispanic woman who has a lousy attitude when speaking, too. Old lady with short hair who also has a very unpleasant attitude towards patients and relatives should be a little more friendly and if they don't like their profession dealing with the public then I think they chose the wrong profession. I repeat not all are like that

I am only rating lower because of an uncaring nurse that took me back. (She deserves a 0) I could barely walk and was sitting in a wheelchair, when she came out to get me she didn’t care that I could barely walk and made me stand and walk back myself. I told her I’m moving slow but coming. She said that’s fine and continued to walk down the hall at a fast speed, then get to the room for her to say “you tested positive for Covid, we can’t do anything for you, what are you doing here?” Needless to say I was floored with the lack of compassion and the rudeness. I’m not one to rush to the hospital at all and this confirmed why. Not only did I test positive for Covid but I’m dealing with kidney stones as well, which I stated upon arrival. She immediately ruined my experience and I was on the verge of just leaving that hospital. Once the doctor came in I told her about the nurse and she was kind enough to get me a different nurse to care for me. Jackie was fabulous and so was the X-ray tech, (didn’t catch his name) and CT tech, Bob. I don’t know if Orlando Health will be the hospital I choose in an emergency again but I’m grateful for those that showed compassion in my time of need.

As a nurse myself, my review is solely based conversations with staff and my observations based on care for 2 days of visiting family member. Care, I feel is good but could be better. Communication is adequate. My only gripe, talking to professionals to get updates on my family member, nurses or doctors seemed to never read the chart to give me any new update. Information was based only report given by previous providers, but never did they check on notes written by doctors etc. This is the only reason score is less than 4. For complex issues, go to Orlando health regional in Orlando. I felt more comfortable having loved one there.

She will be given a code. That code will tell them its her. Once u have the code, head over to the Behavioral entrance on the west side of the property. Is she currently in the Er?
You would have to look through the orlando health website and search for environmental service
They accept credit
I believe the wallet and phone are left at hospital but the car and keys are taken with whatever towing company that picked up the vehicle.
Yes
It depends on how bad is the situation
You can't. Unless you are admitted from a psychiatrist.
