This is the only place I take my pets. The staff is wonderful and many people bring there pets here because of the excellent service and prices are reasonable compared to most clinics. It stays busy but the wait is worth it. The doctor and staff is phenomenal !!

Dr Ashley office is the best with working with animals and taking care of her pets thank you for being such a caring and loving animal vet I have been coming to you for years getting my dogs treated and the pricing is not bad ☺️

The staff is very friendly and compassionate towards the animals. As well the prices are very reasonable. I really enjoy the care that my animals receive when I take them their!!

Two days before Christmas, while visiting from out of town, my dog tweaked his leg and was quite uncomfortable. The receptionist here was so kind on the phone and let us know they closed early that day but could fit us in if we were able to get over there quickly. I had called 15 other clinics who were all booked out even for emergencies (understandably, with the pandemic and staffing issues all places are experiencing) so I was already so appreciative they were able to see my poor ouchy old man! The lovely, kind ladies at the animal clinic of Anacostia were able to fit my pup in quickly after arrival, do a quick exam to confirm nothing was majorly wrong, get meds on board, and they were so sweet to me, his worried mom throughout! Their prices were also extremely reasonable, and I witnessed them provide the same kind care and attention to another gentleman in the lobby with an ill dog as we were on our way out (the staff was staying late to make sure that pup was cared for). So many thanks to Dr Ashley and the rest of the ladies, and I can’t recommend their kind care enough!

Contact the Humane Rescue Alliance they routinely do pop up shops throughout the city and have free or low rates for folks.
I would like to know
Yes Dr Ashley office is the best I know in Washington DC that have low rate in prices for animals if it's your first time
Not all of their receptionists are rude just the one female. Idk her name or what she looks like but I know her voice. Ive never been to the clinic and she was there. I will bring her rudeness to the attention of rhe doctor.
Yes, but you should get there as early as possible to put your name on the list and wait inside of your vehicle until they call you.
No appointment need but arrive at 8 am because a list comes out and if you miss the list you have to come back another day. I believe they take 20 pet's day .
Yes, payment is expected at time of visit but credit and debit cards are accepted.
Yes they do.
Hi I don't think it's reduced price care but it is affordable. Call and ask how much the office visit is and that will give you an idea of cost
Closed
Shots cost depend on the type of vaccine administered.
OPOSSUM DO NOT CARRY RABIES!!!!! THEY ARE BASICALLY HARMLESS. THAT'S WHY PEOPLE WHO HANDLE THEM (ASPCA or HUMANE SOCIETY etc.)KNOW HOW TO PICK THEM UP AND THEY WILL NOT HURT THEM. Opossum will not mess with you unless you try to hurt or threatened them. Opossum are wonderful for getting rid of TICKS and cleaning out dead carcasses. We used to have a terrible tick problem in our yard until the opossum family came along and we have not had a tick in years. They eat some of the cat food that we leave out for the cats, and I am glad they are there. Please do not listen to Scott Breeze!!!! The man is either a LIAR or TOTALLY MISINFORMED and just assumes that what he is saying is correct. Raccoons on the other hand can be mean and vicious. They also can carry rabies. They can attack other animals and sometimes possibly people too.
No, but upon service rendered, Yes.
Check-up & shots walk-in under $150
I am not sure but you should contact the office. The Vet's staff is extremely helpful and would answer both questions.
No we don't
Not sure about the cost but dr ashley is the best and there rates are really reasonable
Nope. Reasonable prices for shots. Knowledgeable staff, helpful and friendly. Gets pretty crowded on Saturdays so get there early! I absolutely recommend!
I have no idea since I only do the cleaning there.
Hi. You can call the DC animal shelter. They can tell you the registation process and any fees. Shots will run you $ 20 to $60 bucks, depending on what and how many vaccines are needed. If you call the clinic. They can tell you the exact amount.
You can bring your dog make sure he or she has on their leash at all times
You dont need insurance but you can ask the vet about insurance
Yes just make sure s/he's on a leash and isn't aggressive you may have to wait outside until it's your turn
$7 for nails Animal clinic but its cheaper $15 for shots the vet by fort totton
That take walk-ins! They do not offer free shots
