Great little hometown dinner. Linda's Diner has been in Winter Park for over fifty years and you'll find the current owner lending a hand waiting tables or taking your money since the diner is CASH only (there is an ATM there just in case). The food was delicious, we enjoyed the 2-2-2 with French Toast, eggs, and bacon. The food was prepared in a timely manner and absolutely delicious, we will be going back.

It's like I walked into that signature diner that no sitcom is perfect without. The kind where the customer is a regular and the employees are down-to-earth, the atmosphere telling you that everyone in the room is family. They know each other, enjoy each other, eat with each other, etc. with each other. What a treat it was to go there on the 20th of November, just last month. Diners are usually calmer and less hectic than fast food stops, of course. But this was even calmer, calmer than your average diner. Every worker knew the rules, directions, routine, etc. and they nailed their jobs because it was never any rush. No fast food? No need to rush. I ordered the Grilled Bacon & Cheese and a bowl of mashed potatoes w/gravy. But no diner breakfast is perfect without 2 hotcakes topped with all the good stuff (butter, syrup, and whatever floats your boat), so that's obviously in my meal. Oh yeah, the last thing was a cup of AJ. In the end? Supa dang delicious. You making a list of awesome historic diners & restaurants in Central Florida? Put this baby right in there, it's cool. Happy holidays!

ALERT! Wasn’t expecting cash only pay. Fortunately, we had a little cash. It’s nice of them to provide an ATM ($2.50 fee) in exchange for the convenience of debit or credit. Sunday morning breakfast was ok. Mostly friendly service. The lady who mentioned “no cards” seems to have a bit of a attitude about that. Apparently the regulars support their business well enough.

Best Shepherds Pie I’ve had in a long time! I was just driving by and noticed for the first time that there was an open parking space Sinai decided to give it a try. I love diners and have drive. By for years but the parking lot was always full. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Shepard’s Pie was one of their specials because it’s hard to find outside of an Irish restaurant so I’ll try it whenever I see it offered. I ordered it with boiled cabbage and garlic toast as the 2 sides. They serving size was s great deal for the price and was hot and seasoned well. The service was very friendly and attentive. I didn’t notice the cash only sign on the register but they have an ATM by the door with only a $2.50 service fee so I was able to get cash. I can’t wait to come back to try other dishes here!
