This is one of the best breweries in not only Stowe, but in the state of Vermont. They have a very efficient drive up if you do not wish to go inside but I thoroughly suggest it. The atmosphere is just like their beer, full of flavor and the more you engage, the better it gets. Highly suggest their product and their venue.

This was on my brewery bucket list, and it was well worth the visit. Took off one star as the experience was limited to two 16oz cans for on-site consumption. Would much rather have preferred an option of smaller pours and the opportunity to try several varieties. That said, the location, staff and beer were all excellent. Final note - don't forget to try the cheese!

Incredible brew pub! The beer 🍺 is amazing and was totally worth the trip up from Wisconsin. Make sure to book a tour in advance!

If you love beer, you have to make the pilgrimage to Northern Vermont to the many beer meccas- and make sure The Alchemist brewery tour is on your list. When we went in mid-october, the tasting room was closed so we booked the tour, which is a can't miss event. Upon arrival our souvenir glasses were immediately filled with fresh Focal Banger that was canned that morning. After a brief introduction, our guide walked us through the brewing operation, making a point to describe in-depth all of the improvements the brewery was making to get to zero carbon emissions and eliminate the environmental impact of brewing beer. All the while, making sure our glasses were never empty. Inside the brewery we all wore masks, except, of course, when we had to sip their amazing beers. Once the tour was over we sat on their patio and enjoyed additional offerings including Heady Topper, an English Imperial Stout, Luscious, and a pilsner called Light. There was no shortage of beer and the patio hangout gave us time to ask questions, talk with other guests, and pick up the beer we ordered in advance. My wife is not a beer drinker but she enjoyed the tour and the beer. The brewery itself was immaculate- the grounds and the interior were well-maintained. Nestled in a valley surrounded by mountains painted by Autumn foliage, it provided a perfect spot for leaf peeping. Add the Alchemist to your bucket list and plan your visit for the fall if you are a foliage lover

There were a couple (well behaved) dogs inside and out when I was there! 👍
Hello, thanks for reaching out. We just did our annual drop to the Bay Area and it hit shelves the first week of February. That is the only guaranteed time you will see it out there. Covid has thrown everything up in the air, so you never know if we will send a second batch. Early February is always a sure thing though. 🍻
The brewery or many nearby locations. Check their site or stop by any shop that sells good beers in n VT, cgances are you'll find some.
Plenty of places around to eat. No food there at the brewery; it's more of a retail feel than a place to hang.
Hi Émilie, no need for a reservation however we are only open for curbside pickup & indoor retail on Wednesday. The outdoor beer garden is open Thursday through Sunday from 11am to 6pm during the summer/early-fall.
We were there last week and due to Covid it's pick-up only. Order online or you can order when you get there, someone will greet you and help you out. It's pretty seamless and you get great beer!!
Personally, I would not ship our beer that far. Unless you sent it via Air Express, I would expect it to get cooked in a shipping container at some point. Also, it is still summer in the Southern Hemisphere so that increases the odds dramatically. They will just have to wait until they come for a visit.
Hi John, just check out our website, you can see exactly what is available and place your order for curbside pickup. www.alchemistbeer.com
Yes, curbside pickup only
Yes. You can get heady topper and focal banger at certain stores. Check their website for locations!
They sell everything they have listed on their site at their stowe location for that day. Different beers and packs per person are listed.
This is a page for questions about the Stowe VT location, you'd be better off contacting bars/distributors in Asheville to see if they ever get any
Go to the Stowe brewery on Tuesday or Wednesday and you will have no issue. A lot of the local stores will have it too if you need to go Monday since the brewery is closed.
No.
Incorrect. These beers are not gluten free.
Any day they're open is fine. They don't really do a "tour", but they do have tastings and sell beer to go.
Why don't you contact the brewery rather than Google?
Nope. In store only. And even then there is extremely limited supply.
I doubt you'll get a prompt reply here. Very strange place to put a message like this. Facebook or phone is my recommendation. This is a very popular beer and they can't supply everyone. I waited on line for 30 mins last week to get the maximum 2 x 4 packs.
