The reason for the season, celebrate Christ

Awesome and beautiful. A family tradition every treat at Christmas is to walk up and down Church Street in Dade City

What a disappointment this year's event had been. Compared to other years, this year lacked the magic of the holiday season. Heart broken that the birthday cake for Jesus and the nativity scenes were not present this year. I hope this year isnt an example of ones to come.

The Church Street Christmas event is held December 21st through December 23rd each year from 7pm-9pm, irrespective of day. This signature event for Downtown Dade City in eastern Pasco County is held immediately before Christmas and is held on Church Avenue in the National Historic District, circa 1885. Many houses are brightly decorated for the season and there are a number of live music performances. Several Churches in the district also open their doors providing their own programs. This is a wonderful event for the entire family and is well worth participation.
