Common courtesy and professionalism is rare. My mother was admitted several days and many times after a change of shift, the new nurse would come in the room and just straight to the computer without even a greeting or introduction. Many times I had to ask them who they were and what was their name. Also, one nurse was ok with me staying overnight with my mom to assist her, the next day the other nurse kicked me out because it was after visiting hours. Can everyone please be on the same page. Lack of friendliness, kindness, and just a smile. Seems like everyone is just too focused on getting a job done and have forgotten about the actual people involved. Human connection, care, and kindness should be the priority.

Had surgery today. The operating room staff has been amazing but my recovery nurse is terrible. Hit my button twice in over 5 hrs and have been made to feel like an utter inconvenience because I can't pee. I've had no food since yesterday at 6, have not been offered any, and my nurse hasn't responded to my second push and it's been 30 minutes at least. I literally heard the beeping get turned off and listened to her continue her conversation. Bedside manner a zero! The operating staff and my amazing surgeon Dr. Hahn are the only reason this place got 3 stars.

If I could rate this hospital 0 stars I definitely would. I come to get seen and get checked in at 5am. Been waiting for about 2 hours. There were people walking in the ER after me and being seen before me even though I told them my pain was a 8 out of a 10. They are inconsiderate and give you no indication why the long wait. There was literally THREE people ahead of me in the ER when i got checked in. Didnt even get to be seen by a DR because of the fact its been 2 hours. No type of update on whats the delay. Horrible place of business. The receptionist was nice though and the lady that took my vitals.

From the moment I walked in the door until I left the next day I have never been treated better or more professionally with a caring seldom found anymore. The staff on all levels were exceptional and made me feel like I was the only patient. From the time I met Sara checking in to be prepped for surgery until released from the 7th floor on Saturday I was so impressed with the doctors, nurses, receptionist and housekeeping. Thank them all from the bottom of my heart. My daughter Brooke Coleman had told me how great the people were there (she worked on 6) and she was so right. You all are the gold standard for hospitals. Thank you so much Lawrence Reed

I have recently been released from the new Women’s and Children’s Building and, on the day I was admitted, I was immediately able to connect with the internet. However, for the next four days I had no internet. Several people tried to help but I could never connect again. So I would say internet service is very iffy. I have an iPhone 7+.
This hospital is nothing short of a joke, I asked to be admitted after I had a seizure and their response to me was, it wouldn't be right of them to improve my risk of getting sick by admitting me. I give this hospital 1 out of 5 stars.
It was full of money and they moved it to the bank!

They should have a website with a careers page.
Call & always put a foot forward & be productive that shows you want the position that much more instead of waiting !
