This isn't the best course I've played. Not even close. The fairways and greens are mediocre. Really the greens are below average. The rates are inexpensive, so you get what you pay for. The range stays open late though.

Not a bad spot, needs a little maintenance but it's great if you're in a budget. Their customer service and hospitality is great, Sarah was the venue's lead, very professional, happy to help out.

First off our tee time started late because they were behind. Then the fairways were hard as rocks. The greens were rough. On the 4th hole my husband was almost hit by another golfer as we were leaving hole. No coolers or ball washers any where. Drink cart took my debit card & never brought it back. Found at the clubhouse not knowing it was going to be there. Felt rushed on the whole course because people were back to back. On the 12th hole I was almost hit twice by balls. No golf etiquette at all. People skipping holes. Will not return nor will I recommend. For the price it was very disappointing.

I'm very new to golf. Ironwood offers a great driving range and a nice short game practice area. The other golfers have so far been respectful, and one of them helpful. Grounds from what I've seen seem to be well maintained. I've only used the driving range so far but hope to be able to play a 9hole soon, will update the review when that time comes. 4.50 for 35balls and 8 for 70. I haven't ordered a large yet haha. I like driving most of it and when I get down to the last 12 I practice short and then drive em off when I'm do e.

Will the course management allow me to fish the water hazards?

TERRY MERCER | Sep 8, 2020
Nikolas Schultz | Sep 8, 2020

There's only a few sections of water that aren't in the normal OB landing areas. The only people I've ever seen fish there are the rangers. I wouldn't see a problem if it's not a busy day and you cleared it with them first. Otherwise you might be ducking wayward balls.

Michael Suess | Sep 9, 2018
Daniel Schmidt | Sep 9, 2018
