This is not a Bass lake. Plentiful of Crappie (Specks) and Bluegill

This address won’t get you to the parking lot. Use the address to Pithlachocco Lake Sparrow trail or West Hiking trail to park and also get on the trail. The former leads to the lake. The latter offers a impressive forest view. We enjoyed our time there.

Leeta Gato

Good sized parking lot at the trailhead. Very few people on the weekdays, but I noticed the lot fills up more on the weekends. Well marked trail for hikers and separately marked trail for bikes. Trail is well maintained and is just under 3 miles. Takes you all the way out to the lake where there is a picnic table and dug our canoe exhibit.

Nice shady trail for a casual walk with your pets or place to be alone with your thoughts. The live oak tree is a unique feature amongst the many other trees.
