Probably the best park in Alachua County. The park itself is really nice and offers a lot of activities for all ages. The park includes several baseball and soccer fields, tennis courts, playground, and frisbee golf. There is a rather nice walking / running trail that goes around the entire park, some of the trail is shaded. Most days we've been there concessions is offered. Be warned this park is very busy, the parking is terribly inadequate for the amount of activities. Plan ahead by arriving early and bring a chair or blanket to sit on while watching practice.

You can't rent the fields inside the gate. Outside is 1st come 1st serve on any given day.
We use them for soccer so why not. Enjoy
Dogs are allowed on leashes in general areas, but not inside the fences of the field areas.
