Nice beach just north of Rockaway Beach. Typically plenty of parking, a real restroom, nice wide beach with views to Neahkahnie Mountain to the north. Nice walk up the beach to the south jetty of the Nehalem River.

What a beautiful beach and experience. Well worth the stop. I found the tide crazy rough and every wave was a sneaker so it definitely requires your attention if you go close to the surf but if you keep your distance it's completely safe and wonderful.

Went to this beach to have a late night fire, and was surprised that it was nearly empty. Dug a hole, put wood in, and lit it. Was a relaxing evening. Ran into one person (we think they were like 19) who walked up to us and asked us to buy them weed. Besides that encounter, it was a wonderful night.
