The service, food and atmosphere were outstanding. I will definitely be back. The server made great recommendations and knew the menu well.

One of the worst dinners we’ve had in a while. So many things went south. After being told the only available seating was outside (it was a cold night), we expressed we did not mind waiting. We were seated immediately. Weird but we were happy to sit and enjoy each other as there was only two of us. Cocktails arrived fast and tasted great. Ordered a sprit after waiting about 45 min for our order. Sprite was all carbonation, they replaced the drink and fix the Sprite, no big deal. Couple minutes later our food arrived, wife ordered a chicken sandwich and after a couple bites she realized it was raw, no joke 100% raw, not cooked, still bleeding, maybe sat down on a hot surface for a minute or so! We told the wait staff, she took the plate and offered a replacement and we politely declined. The manager arrived after a bit and said something to the effect, ya I saw it, it was raw and that he will be removing it from our bill. So naturally I’m suspicious now. I ordered the three meat with smoked chicken and the freaking chicken was raw! Not smoked properly with an obvious marble discoloration. Blood was still oozing from the bone. Totally disgusted at this point and did not finish either meal.

Outdoor dining is open again finally!! Outstanding........from the moment you open the doors. That longed for smell of BBQ hits you, your already indulging in perfectly smoked meats. Pictured are the Chicken(5), Pulled Pork(5) and Brisket(4). Brisket appeared and was a bit dry for a flat however, slightly overcooked as it completely fell apart and the flat muscle should have a slight pull to it, the flavor though was excellent. The Mac n Cheese(4) was everything you want in it from a smokehouse and that Onion Ring plate(5) will not be forgotten any time soon, it was exquisite as was the Corn Bread(5). French Fries(5) were on definitely on point, the Cole Slaw(3) was very basic and that's a big disappointment for me as I love a great Cole Slaw. Will definitely return sooner than later, need those burnt ends in my life and will order some "wet brisket" which should be part point and part flat.

This is one of those sad times where I don’t understand the big deal about this place. Even before I visited Mojo Fed the first time and still now so many people I talk to just rave about the place. But man, I just really don’t get it. I feel like I’m the outlier of an inside joke. My first time at the Fed I had big expectations after hearing so much. And I wasn’t super impressed so I didn’t know if it was just a spoof, because that does happen. So later on I gave it another chance. And again, the food was just average to me. Come again a third time, not by my choice but that my party had never been there and wanted to try, and we all left clearly deciding we wouldn’t go back. I’ve tried different dishes here too- brisket, pulled pork, shrimp and grits, and none of it was bad, by any means. The shrimp and grits are super heavy and don’t mix well. The pork is very dry when I’ve had it, and even the jalapeño corn bread is dry and way too spicy so you’re lacking your lips badly. Everything has been average at best and not worth spending the money when Lakeland really does have a lot of other great options. Even just the presentation of the food is lackluster- on ugly dark blue splattered plastic plates and bowls. One positive is I do think the fried pickle app is pretty good, and comes with a nice sauce. My other complaint with Mojo Fed is how insanely loud it is. The building is super cool- including “federal” in the name is so spot on because the building feels like an old government (maybe it actually is?) building that’s very stately feeling, which is why I wish so badly I were more taken with the food. But, even though the place feels grand, it’s really just one giant room, so when even a few parties start to come in, the noise level is tremendous. I’m saying- I can’t even hear the person 2 seats down from me speaking at a moderately loud level. It’s so loud it’s hardly enjoyable. Mojo Fed is very sadly one of those places I want to be better than it is. It’s not a terrible option but when you’re in downtown Lkld you can walk the block to a dozen other options that are better, and I myself will for sure be walking right past the Fed from now on. Sad face.

Yes it is
Yes, there is a wheelchair access point around the side, the outdoor dining there is great as well.
Calling is probably your best option. They are not necessarily on top of being efficient with seating.
Same as the majority in Lakeland. Mask on when you go in, off at the table, and on when not at the table, like going to the bathroom and leaving. Staff wear masks and they can be seen wiping areas down.
I think so
10pm. 11pm Friday an Saturday
I did NOT see a place where one could karaoke however, it was Mother's Day when we got there so....
Talk to the manager
Not for smallparties of 4 or less. I do not know about larger groups.
They do not take reservations. Depending on who answers the phone, they may take call aheads.
