Well maintained trails through natural beauty. Plenty of wildlife to enjoy.

A very beautiful walk inside and outside the dunes. Temp dropped by degrees when entering the western sand dune and Palmetto trails off A1A. Nice viewing tower in the dunes west of A1A with 360 viewing. Love the view. Beautiful spot. There is the beach portion with a beautiful wooden boardwalk with railings, and a pavilion over the preserved sand dunes. Then there is the river wetlands walkway on the western portion off Peninsula Drive(not pictured) where a boardwalk takes you through the natural Florida wetlands to the Intercoastal waterway. This little slice of natural beauty preserved on the beachside/riverside in Ponce Inlet is always worth the trip! Hope it is always well respected and cared for. *side note- parking is rather limited and it’s best viewed in the morning or late afternoon, just my opinion.

What a gem! Walk on beautiful wooded trails to the ocean & then to a boardwalk over the intracoastal! Take your time, look for wildlife. Peaceful & well maintained. Free parking & admission!

Amazing place to check out the beach, terrific fishing on the Halifax River, trails for hiking and biking, and a beautiful park for the kiddos. Check out the historic oak and the Indian shell mound while you're there.

Yes, dogs are allowed on trails and boardwalk to the Halifax.
Unfortunately no. There is no camping allowed and the preserve has a closing time so even if you tried, you will have a hard time finding parking especially since public lots are closed and most areas around are private property.
Yes you can fish there and you need a saltwater license
Yes. Many do on beach, sidewalk and roads
