Great hiking area near Oviedo. A nice short, well-earned trail leads to a cool observation tower near Lake Jesup.

Nice trail during the dry months. Plenty of wildlife. Deer, eagles, osprey, etc. The back part of the loop coming back hasn't been managed in a very long time. I was covered with burrs. Overall it's a decent short hike.

The entrance is across from the Boomba sports complex, 415 and Cameron, turn on Cameron Ave and the park entrance is a quarter mile down on the left, go through the gate and park in the field. Fair warning there are no marked paths here. Wild country. Cheers.

What is the hours for the park? There is pier or boardwalk for fishing?
