We have always enjoyed the open family time. Great lifeguards, and well kept. Waterslide is awesome because they even allowed at thr time our 2 yr old to go down with one of the adults. Lifejackrts have taken a toll from the chlorinee and suggest you bring your own for a better fit. Started our 3 and 6 yr old in swim classes and they are progressing wonderfully. Glad this is available to us, especially for the early winter blues. Our youngest had his 4th birthday party here which was super fun!

West High's pool is conveniently located for my family - we use the pool for lap swims and find the facilities clean and the staff reasonably friendly. With three lap swim opportunities each weekday week there is enough opportunity to get over there and swim around all excuses for why one couldn't get a swim in. Only downside is most of the lockers don't lock but you can bring your bag to the benches at the end of the pool to keep an eye on your belongings should you feel the need.

Best pool in Anchorage, way cheaper than the indoor water park and to be honest my kids prefer the West pool.
