Ive been here 6 months now and LOVE it! Kim is absolutely amazing and helpful. I wanted a place where I felt safe and close to Albany where I work and consider this the best. The grounds are well kept, the pool almost empty when I visit (which is often) and the neighbors are friendly and quiet.

I lived in Capitol View Apartments for three years and I wi never run out of great things to say. Kim was amazing, whenever we needed something she was always happy to help. The entire staff was super friendly and respectful. Whenever we needed maintenance, they would come very quickly and get things fixed. Maintenance always kept the grounds cleaned and plowed. Never had any pest problems which is an extreme plus. And the laundry room was always clean too. I loved staying here. Thank you Kim and everyone for everything. 💚

I can’t say enough good things about this property. Kim has always been extremely responsive any time I have contacted her. I was amazed to see her in the spring and summer outside in the flower beds pulling weeds along with the maintenance staff but I was even more amazed to see her outside shoveling snow in the last horrendous snow storm we had that dumped 2 feet of snow. She didn’t even have a vehicle because her wipers were broken, yet she came into work on a day she didn’t have to and was outside shoveling snow along with maintenance staff. Maintenance is also extremely responsive- I had a clogged pipe at 11 pm and they were here within 10 minutes and stayed until the plumber came snd the situation was resolved- at approximately 4 am! And while they were here that night they replaced the battery on my door lock because they noticed it was going dead. The location couldn’t be better, I’ve biked over the bridge to Albany to the bike trail from it. It’s extremely close to the train station and the view is bar none of the plaza. Also, I practically lived in the pool this summer. Can’t say enough good things about it.

The Good: Quiet. The neighborhood is off the main road so there isnt a lot of foot or vehicular traffic. The neighborhood, while we were there, was inhabited by a large amount of retiree's who didnt make a lot of noise. Location. The complex is just up the hill from exit 3 on 787, the amtrak station, and short drive to exit 9 on 90. Style. We occupied a second floor one bedroom with a den, using the den as a second bedroom. The closets provided plenty of storage. Rent Office. Kim was an amazing leasing agent, always cheerful and happy to help. Maintenance: The maintenance crew were always cheerful and happy to help. Most things were fixed one and done. A couple things took repeated visits but once they were able to get to the bottom of what was causing it, the issue got resolved. The Bad: AC. The units feature in-wall AC units that are very reminiscent of a hotel room. The main problem with them is when they reach the desired temperature they loudly turn off. The fan and cooling would cease instead of the fan keeping going. If you are a light sleeper, expect to be woken up a lot. Plowing. The first three years we were there the plowing in the winter was very subpar. This was likely due to the plow not being down far enough causing a sheet of snow and ice to harden. Days or a week later it would eventually melt away, but it was discouraging that the roads outside the neighborhood were just wet while we had to navigate ice pack that made it impossible to go up the big hill in the center if you didnt have a large vehicle. In the last year, either someone else did the plowing or our complaints finally got through because the day after the snow stopped the neighborhood matched the road outside.

How are the sound issues in these apartments? Can you hear your neighbors through the walls easily?

I haven't had a problem with that, though I've only lived here for a month. Every once in a while, you can faintly hear the Amtrak but that's it.
