I love the fact that they have an indoor pool. But parking is always an issue. I suggest taking metro or walk if you live in the vicinity.

I often go here to exercise during the week. Weekends can be busy. Avoid at all costs during the summer, unless you are a lap swimmer! Go early anytime before 10 am.

Clean facilities and they just repaired the mens locker room showers. Still need to fix the entry doors. My neighborhood pool so I love having a “free” pool I can walk to. Bring a lock for your locker, don’t tempt fate. Limited Lap Lanes Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 11:00am-12:30pm 5:30pm-8:30pm Tuesday & Thursday 9:00am-10:30am 5:30pm-8:30pm

Had a very good experience here on a Saturday morning. It was not too crowded and facilities were in pretty great shape. Nice to have a publicly accessible aquatic center in the neighborhood.

Yes. You should also be aware that they do not allow you to lock a locker for longer than a 24 hour period, i.e. at night, they will cut any locks off.
It much easier to get a parking space during the week on the community. However Saturdays are crazy and Sundays are a bit and miss.
You can use the registration portal to view all classes and sign up. Enjoy! https://web1.vermontsystems.com/wbwsc/dcwashingtonwt.wsc/splash.html?SessionID=%3C?VSI-SessionID?%3E&module=AR&ccode=ProgramsandActivities

Yes. But you must check with the lifeguard on the rules.
DC residents are free. However I don't know how much the charge non-residence.
No 7 bucks for non DC residents and free for DC residents
Parking is extremely limited but you could possibly park on the street in front of the facility if you get there early.
DC Residents No cost; but Non-residents a fee is applied for pool entry.
Weekdays 6am to 9pm Weekends 6am to 5pm
Weekdays are 6 AM to 9 PM Weekends are 6 AM to 5 PM
I'm not aware of any opportunities provided by the pool themselves but it is a community pool. Probably have to reach out to a specific program for that
You can sign up for group classes or check with the staff for private lessons$$
Only if you are a district resident and possibly if you are military.
$7 for adults and you can buy the pass online: https://web1.vermontsystems.com/wbwsc/dcwashingtonwt.wsc/splash.html
Should be open according to their holiday schedule: https://dpr.dc.gov/page/pool-closures-and-holidays
No. Hours for lap swim are from open to close. There are less lanes from 5pm to 8pm due to the children swim meets.

You have to call the center. They offer classes all of the time for all ages. Great place to get a lesson. I sent my son there years ago and he became a lifeguard. YEAH!

12 feet. The water feel great.
Technically there is lap swimming available all the time. Realistically there is swim team practice everyday starting at 5:30 pm until 7:30 or 8 pm. So there are only 1 or 2 lanes for lap swimming. A small area for swim classes, and a general fitness area where lap swimming is not allowed.
Yes, they are run by dc dept of parks and rec. Check out their website for class availability and signing up.
