Says close time is 1630, but actually closes at 1620. This is because, "we close the kiosk 10 min prior".

The worst pharmacy we have had to use in 22 your career. Wait times are ridiculous..... Lord help you if they have to get a non formulary drug or pre authorization..

My newborn son was hospitalized for a life threatening condition. I spent every moment with him in the hospital for a week. At discharge he required medication to treat adrenal deficiency. Without this medication he would die in a short period of time. I had the prescription sent to the JBER pharmacy. We left the hospital and went straight to get his prescription. We we're told when we tried to fill it that because my newborn son was not enrolled in DEERS yet that they refused to fill the prescription. Again, my newborn was hospitalized. You are supposed to have 90 days to enroll in Tricare. JBER pharmacy's staff or idiotic policy could have killed my son as the pediatric specialty office at Providence closed just minutes after we left JBER pharmacy. Luckily we were able to have it transferred and filled at a civilian pharmacy. Inexcusable.

Questions & Answers

which thursday is the pharmacy closed for training

The third Thursday of each month the Medical Group to include the pharmacy is closed for training day.

I arrived at the satellite pharmacy at 1153am. Picked up my meds within 5 minutes. Needed to get supplies with the Diabetes Honor Card. It is now 1335 hrs. Why does it take so long to get items when using THE DHC?

When it comes to the Diabetes Honor Card, that is a program created to save you the extra time to make an appointment with your doctor to write you new prescriptions. Instead, the card acts as a prescription but it still has to be typed up, filled, and verified by a pharmacist just like any other prescription. Hopefully, this answers your question. If you have any further questions, you can always contact the pharmacy directly.
