This company do not see al these reviews. Why are you guys scamming all these people? I definitely tired of this company. When it’s rainy there is no electric in my apartment. I work from home and always When it’s rainy I have to take my laptop and go outside and find wifi to continue my job. Last 40 days i did not have electric at least 15 times. This is so ridiculous. At night when there is no electric i am sitting at home with candles. Like it’s Roman Empire times. This is 2022 and we live in USA. And Tampa is one of the coolest city in USA. How is it possible you guys can not fix this issue. Or there is something that it is really expensive and you guys do not want to buy and fix. All i can just say SHAME ON YOU TECO. The worst company ever. I would give less than 1 star if it was available.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Every single time I call with a *unique* question or case I get disconnected and have to do the same automatic song/dance to go through the whole process again. TECO made an ERROR and mixed up my meter with my neighbors and now after two years of paying ON time and in FULL amount, I’m expected to pay for their error??? Funny how when the customers have errors of their own they’re still expected to pay. Teco is a Monopoly with terrible customer service and zero compassion. I’d tell you to run but you don’t have a choice , be sure to always review your service with them. Maybe we can get their 2.7 rating to a 1!!!

Worst power company ever. Have an outage? Be prepared for nothing but robots and atleast 24hrs until a real person reaches out. 1 star is too much for this “service” run away from them if you can

If you have the unfortunate need to use Teco, move out of the city. The automated system makes it almost impossible to reach a live representative. I tried calling for over an hour to reach someone and the system would not pass me to a rep if it was about my account, the only way I could get through was to press random buttons throughout. Then they try to rush you off the line and are rude. Their third party company they use to pay if you call in is a $2 charge each time and takes 5 days to come out of the account. I am unable to see my electricity usage even though after speaking with 2 different reps say it is available online, it's not. Overall I can not wait to move out of this city so I can have a decent electric company again.

I have had nothing but trouble we moved from Boca to tampa 4 weeks ago they have returned my check which i have had 30 years 5 times and I have called 10 times So inadequate

This is not a customer service location. TECO's call center is open 24/7 for trouble reporting and emergencies but, depending on the issue, some topics are not covered at all hours.

Because they generally have a monopoly on the power service in an area and, therefore, have no incentive to provide good customer service. After all, what are you gonna do, live without power?
