THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE, THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE AMAZING, THE GENERAL MANAGER RYAN IS AMAZING AND DOWN TO EARTH, THE TRAINERS GIVE THEIR BEST KNOWLEDGE AND RESPECT WHEN IT COMES TO FITNESS, THIS PLACE IS MORE THEN JUST A FITNESS GYM, THE WAY PEOPLE TREAT YOU WHEN YOU WALK INTO ANY ESTABLISHMENT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO A POTENTIAL CLIENTS AND THE LOVE YOU ARE TREATED WITH BY KENNITH, ALEX AND RAUL IS TOP DOLLAR SERVICE, EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE YOU WILL CATCH THE OWNER IN HERE WORKING OUT VERY HUMBLE GUY VERY NICE....JUST WANTED TO SAY THANK YOU VERY MUCH TO THE STAFF AT METRO FITNESS CENTER KEEP DOING AMAZING WORK

I enjoy going to Club Metro Jersey City. It has everything I look for in a gym. Especially the rules to users at this time of Covid-19 I see that they are met. Each user must sanitize whatever they are using before and after. Sanitizer bottles are provided for each user. The protein shakes bar is amazing! Very varied. So far, I have tried three delicious flavors. I'm looking forward to classes like yoga and/or Zumba being activated because I'm going to be the first enrolling on them. The communication system with users is good when there is a change on the regular opening/closing time due to any circumstance like snow. The atmosphere is calm, the staff excellent. I'm grateful for the effort that Club Metro Jersey City staff does every day. Overall, everything is well maintained and clean. Something that I don't like so much is that the mirrors are half-body. The only thing I would change would be full-body mirrors. Perhaps it's for safety I don't know.

Summary: A pretty decent value for money kind (among the options available in Newport area) with good well maintained equipment and not so crowded gym. Full Review: I had been looking for a decent gym in the Newport area at an affordable price. Most gyms in the area are considerably more expensive and the Club Metro hits the sweet spot. This is one of the reasons it became pretty popular in the area. The gym is very close to the PATH and has most facilities that you expect from a normal gym The gym is pretty well maintained and looks new. There is ample equipment for weight training and cardio. The gym tends to get crowded during the evenings but haven't found myself waiting much for any equipments which is a great sign. There are about 2 of each for most machines and equipment. They are well maintained and have found the staff pretty responsive to feedback. I have found the basic membership as the most value for money. It includes access to all the weight training and cardio equipment, sauna and lockers. I felt like the add-ons are slightly expensive. They also have a protein shake counter but the prices are pretty high. Overall its a good gym in the area and you should definitely check it out if it meets your needs for training.
