It’s ridiculous the fact that their phone don’t work and you gotta go in person to try make an appointment and when u at the appointment the same racist person that made the appointment tell u need to have insurance for a salvage to rebuilt title paperwork like common it’s not even the inspection n then extremely bad customer service they don’t even look at ur face n act like they don’t understand u plus they make u go back over n over again for stupid things like a part paper translation!!!!! N the manager does the same has no manners he said “I don’t care if you have the right paperwork we will not let this one pass” This is not even my first time doing this service so they are completely inexperienced n on top racist!

Finally working out the scheduling and appointments waited 5-10 minutes at most. The people are nice It's just the waiting that most find annoying me included.

I'm a dealer. Thier phone menu is messed up, if you press #3 for dealer services, it sends you to DMV license options, if you press another of those options, automated messages says contact a dmv office in your county. If you try any other option to reach an operator "no one is available" and the line disconnects.....So short of driving 1hr 30 mins to ask a basic question in person, its impossible to get an answer. Emailed the DMV region 6 email about a week ago, no response. Incredibly disappointing.

1st time visit 2/2 to get my golf cart inspected to meet LSV specs and i encountered an employee at the counter who was very professional and said an inspector will meet you at your golf cart, inspector was very courteous and very knowledgable, i did not remember his name but had a long pony tail, he went over my cart and paperwork and i had a vin#/title in 30 min. Lady issuing title was very patient and kind, Awesome experience overall.

No, this dmv office only handles vehicle documentation.
Thank you, but my credit company tells me that they no longer handle the actual paper titles, that all titles are kept electronically by the DMV and that they will not request the title from the DMV. The DMV tells me that I need to make an appointment to come to pick it up. I tried to do that but I can't get them on the phone. I tried several different numbers I found listed for them. The only actual person I could get a call through to was in Pinellas County .Since I'm in Hillsborough County, she couldn't help me. I understand that an electronic title exists. I just want a paper title to anything I own. Right now I am frustrated about the situation but decided to just forget about it until I want to sell the car.

As far as I am aware 30 days. But I have seen people leave the tags longer. Not sure if because we have a big military community in Tampa due to McDill's AFB personnel and CENTCOM.
To apply for a Florida identification card you will need to do the following: Gather documents that verify their identity, Social Security Number, U.S. citizenship or lawful presence status, and proof of Florida residency. Apply in person at any driver license office and bring the required documents and fees.
You can keep it but if you come back you will need to pay the 250 impact fee again unless you turn it in

If you're talking a copy of an existing, I believe 'yes'. Go online, the site is pretty straight forward and user friendly. There is a charge. If you go in to the tax collector's office, they are very good at moving people through and you can pay a couple dollars extra to get it quickly.
Best to show up before 3:00 PM to submit required documents. If everything is in order then an inspection appointment date will be made.
