In the last two weeks, I’ve been out on a boat 4 times. Mostly on weekends. Each experience from multiple locations have been great. The staff is helpful and very polite/professional. I’ve been able to secure reservations but with help of the staff get same day reservations. Because many members book boats and then cancel last minute, it can be difficult to book online. But if your flexible and willing to go out of any location you can get a boat. I have 8 locations within a 10 mile radius from me so I have not had an issue getting a boat. I’m sure there will be a day where I won’t be able to get one. And that’s ok. It’s a boat club where we share and the cost is affordable compared to either owning your own boat or in comparison to other new marina clubs that have one locations and large yearly fees. Thanks FBC. We’re looking forward to getting back out there tomorrow after being out all day today.

We have been a member a few weeks, and it’s been a blast. One we did the orientation we were off booking boats. The trick is to plan. Last minute boats from popular locations book up, but plan out 3-4 weeks and never a problem. We have called last minute and picked up a boat if we are flexible with boat type and location.

We have been members for 1.5 years. We were so excited when we joined as this has been a goal for us for some time. The orientation and training they include is great, and you can get as much help as you need to feel comfortable. I have participated in several Women's Wednesdays and they are helpful too. We've used reciprocals several times in other states and that has been a good experience. We only boat during the week, so we haven't had an issue getting boats, but I hear from many members that getting one on the weekends is very difficult. Unfortunately, we have become increasingly concerned with the stability of this franchise. Since we joined, at least 5-6 locations have shut down. The communication from home office hasn't been great about what's happening with plans for replacement locations. It's been very disappointing and worrisome as it's a pretty large investment.

Captain Ted was great! The course was informative and helped build my confidence out on the water. Looking forward to being a FBC member. Thank you Captain Ted! UPDATE: The dock staff of Justin, Lou and Braden are an awesome bunch. These guys are helpful and have great attitude. Thanks guys !

Questions & Answers

How easy visit to make a reservation same day, especially on a weekend? Is it easy to decide to go out spur of the moment, or do we need to plan ahead?

I've been planning way in advance, to get the type of boat I like. I would t count on spur of the moment right now.
