'Guilty until proven innocent' is the motto at the police department seems like. I was recently wrongly arrested for a crime I did not commit to which the police officer said "you can prove your innocence in front of the judge" verbatim. The police officer made completely outrageous accusations and assumptions about the situation and was very one sided about the whole incident. These officers are not trying to uphold order and law, which is very concerning. They seem like they are above the law..

Officers, like the one who assaulted Aranda Wendell, will charge people with "resisting arrest" when they violate people's rights and assault them. Have they ever considered people are "resisting" because your officers are being VIOLENT to them with unjust cause?! It's more like "resisting arrest" is code to justify beating someone. You guys sure are "Serving with Pride. Protecting with dignity". What a joke and a disgrace! No wonder all charges were dropped against Aranda Wendell and a $20,000 settlement was given to her. Get your incompetent department in order and be happy you officers are not being charged with criminal assault. Learn to recognize that people are "innocent until proven guilty". Learn to actually "serve" and "protect" rather than being a bully with a badge. Check your ego at the door. Fire that police officer who tased Wendell...after numerous complaints and you do nothing? Also, please don't tase and charge me with resisting arrest when I visit Stuart FL. I have no criminal record. Thanks!

My next door dumping a big pile of tree clipping on the street. Part of the dumping is on my side of the street. Police came to resolve this issue. She insists the "circle marker" on the street is the indicator for property boundary line. She concluded that there is no violation for dumping of tree clipping on my property. I suggest police offices should be properly educate some of the common knowledge for the "Marker" on the street.
