Really safe place, I have never felt unsafe while living here and have never experienced any theft either, despite my kids and I often forgetting things outside. A few issues I've had with the place: I felt like a teenager in regards to having guests stay over, they watch and send notes out after a couple of nights warning you to put them on the lease or get them out. They are quick to send out these types of threatening letters for all types of things, I feel that they should get one of their staff members to edit the letters so that they sound less threatening because they are written in such a way that makes you feel like you are on the verge of getting kicked out at any moment. For example, when my kids were 3 & 4 they'd often leave our door ajar and our chihuahua would run out, well that occurring warranted a letter stating I had to get rid of my dog within 30 days or move out. Long story short, I never got rid of my dog, and needless to say I didn't get kicked out either, but maybe a letter suggesting something I could do, or stating something kind at the end like, let us know if there is anything we can do to assist you. The way their letters are now makes you feel hated and like they are saying F*** you, then when you call they are perfectly nice, so the letters are not an accurate representation of them and probably a large reason why they have so many negative reviews to be honest. Also the dog poop bags have been needing to be refilled since Christmas week. lol

So glad ELS and staff care, enforces rules professionally and are cleaning this community up. When reading the negative reviews I was concerned , but as I did my research, it turns out most negatives are by those who can not pass background either credit or criminal checks, or think they can do as they please, which is great, community does not need those types. My experience has been wonderful and happy with the community and all the staff.

The housing management will discriminate against you based on your demographics. I’ve had the displeasure of owning a home here, and would definitely not recommend anyone purchasing a home in this community!

I have lived here a year and love it! I live on a very quiet street and my neighbors are all very nice and respectful. You can see that management is trying to clean up the park. You need a minimum of 600 credit score to rent or buy and a certain level of income. The lot rent is getting a little steep which I understand but I just wish I knew what it was used on. I am happy things are cleaning up making it a safe place for me to own a house. I have never dealt with anyone being loud or disrespectful. People at the office are always so nice. This is a great stepping stone for those wanting to buy a house in Clermont but cannot afford a large down payment. Own here and invest then sell down the line. It doesn't seem like people have issues here unless they arent paying their rent or breaking other rules....
