My dog loves it at Belara Kennels. The provider is the best. I will use Beltar every day I need to board my dog.

Wonderful place to board your dog. The runs are nicely sized so your pup can enjoy the fresh air and the inside sleeping area is climate controlled for comfort on those hot sticky Florida days. The kennel is directly attached to owners home and she has a baby monitor so she can hear everything going on in kennel at all times. There is also a large fenced in yard so the dogs can run freely at times during the day. I highly recommend this kennel if you need a safe, comfortable place for your dog. Laurie is awesome!

We love Rita and Lori! They are our dogs grandmas! We take comfort in knowing they are always in good hands when we board them at Beltara.

Laurie at Beltara has been boarding my dogs for years. I will NEVER use anyone else because she cares for my dogs as if they were her own!

Other than encouraging everyone to behave in a civilized manner, no specific training. That said, I have converted many an all-day-long picky eater into a good, two-meal-a-day eater. I have figured out the cause for many eating disorders and worked out solutions for the owners. A calm environment and sensible routine have solved many behavioral issues for my customers. We have been a show kennel for 70 years, first with Doberman Pinschers and then with Pharaoh Hounds, as the foundation kennel for Pharaoh Hounds in the US. After all these decades, we have encountered countless behavior issues and tried to help our customers work out solutions. This is our pleasure to do for our customers...we do not charge extra. Where more complex behavioral problems present, I advise my customers to seek out a trainer or join an obedience class. In many cases it is the owner who needs to get into a routine of positive interaction in a structured environment.
My outside runways (connected to individual inside pens) are 2/3 covered for shade and rain protection. I do have one runway (and its inside pen) completely secured with additional wire fencing in case one of my guests is a climber.
