I am a very happy and fortunate customer of this storage facility. Monica, James, and Peter have always gone out of their way to answer my questions or help me with any concern I may have. They keep the facility very clean and I see them working on maintaining the highest standards for this location. I also appreciate that they were true to their word of watching all of the sites and notifying me when a site became available for my RV. I couldn’t thank all three enough their work ethic and customer service.

My friend lost all his belongings- seized and “disposed of” per James, the manager, after being only 39 days in arrears. He lost over $50,000-worth of mostly new and high quality items over a bill that totaled MAYBE $500. No phone call, no email, no explanation about how his things were disposed of or where they went. Even after pleading for details and offering full payment + extra to cover penalties and LS’s costs, he received no further communication. He ONLY found a note that said he would be evicted and didn’t have enough time to get all his stuff out. He has been devastated. But even still, he didn’t want to write a review, but someone had to let people know that this company does not follow the normal protocol which is to extend as much help and notice as possible and offer auction as an avenue to make up for missed payments. Also it had been obvious that someone had broken into his unit and stole things. Security at this place is terrible, as you can see from other reviews. The gate is often stuck in the up position, the doors are left ajar, the units can be opened without keys. Sad situation for someone that was down on his luck to begin with… shame on Life Storage. Heartless and corrupt. I bet they have their own warehouse out of which they sell other people’s belongings.
