I would not bring your pets to this hospital if you want the doctors to actually care about your pet! They do not care about making sure the pet gets better all they care about is getting the pets out the door. The doctors never even talk to you.

UPDATE 05/23/2022 Our dog has barely eaten or drank water since her Friday dental cleaning. She is STILL crying in pain. She hasn't slept. She's a very food motivated dog so seeing her not want food is unheard of. We took her to another vet, who told us according to the records they received from Banfield, she was improperly sedated during her dental procedure and woke up early, so they had to pull the tube out of her mouth in an unsafe manner. Meaning, they hurt my dog. Knowingly. They scratched up her throat so bad she doesn't want to eat or drink from pain. Not only that, she is now absolutely TERRIFIED of going to the vet. She used to love it and would say hi to everyone in the office, no matter where we were, today she was wailing, hiding, and tried to jump out the window. I don't know what happened in the 6 hours she was at Banfield for her teeth, but she's a completely different dog and this is absolutely unacceptable. Shame on you. You shouldn't be in business. Editing to post a huge BEWARE. Took my dog for dental cleaning 05/20/2022. She has been in horrible pain, barely eating, and screaming since yesterday. Had to take her to emergency vet at UF because Banfield wouldn't pick up the phone or help at all. Did a lot of research while waiting for a REAL vet's prognosis, turns out malpractice and pet death is SUPER common at Banfield Hospitals across the country. I thought our bad experiences and my gut instinct about this place were misplaced/bad luck, but I was wrong. DO NOT GO HERE OR ANY OTHER LOCATION!!!!

Veterinarian is too busy to talk to pet owner. It’s seem everything is set up to take your money. Be careful. If you want a doctor that explains to you what ate treatment options I wouldn’t recommend. Even with the Banfield’s plan it is expensive.

Really good experience! The staff were super kind and informative. I brought in my newly adopted cat for the first time and they did a very good job of trying to make her comfortable which was well appreciated since she is generally anxious. They helped me navigate her potential medical problems and consistently updated me on what they were doing and how long it would take. Overall, a very good visit and my cat seemed to be pretty happy about it too.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?

Banfield Pet Hospital | Sep 8, 2020

Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
