Being new to Florida and not having the best experience with a past vet I was very nervous and hesitant about finding a new vet. My apartment complex recommended this place. I felt completely welcomed from the second you walk to the door with the welcome board that had every single fur baby's name that had an appointment that day. I even took a picture of the board. The staff is beyond friendly and made the exam for my cats as painless as possible. Very grateful I found Newberry Hospital.

I own a cat and I’m moving out of my student apartment near campus. I was so overwhelmed by the different vet clinics in the area but I can vouch that Newberry Animal Hospital is definitely the right choice. The clinic is small enough to know you and your pet, but responsible and efficient with their services. Even if there was an emergency or they couldn’t directly help, they offered solutions and compassion. I’ll definitely miss them as I leave college and cannot recommend them enough!

I've been really pleased with their services. Have taken my cats here for about 5 years now. Friendly, compassionate veterinary care. The staff and doctors are very personable and offer good advice and options for your pet's needs.

They literally saved my dog's life. I was so thankful that they didn't overcharge me or take advantage like most vets do when an emergency happens. My dog had to come everyday for several weeks and they ALWAYS treated her so well and were beyond kind. I honestly wish there were more stars to give. My heart is so full!!!! I have a healthy girl all because of their efforts and knowledge on what needed to be done to get her back to normal. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart ya'll!!!

Questions & Answers

Do they do total hip replacements on small Maltese 10-lb dogs

Mark, There are so many variables with respect to hip disease (whether it be traumatic or chronic) For small dogs there are more options, so we would be happy to evaluate the case, as we do perform many coxofemoral procedures. We would be happy to have one of our surgeons meet with you.

My cat coughs weird an when I gooogled it, it sounds exactly like one with asthma. Is that treatable.
