From start to finish, the process of being treated at BayCare Urgent Care was an absolute delight. The staff was exceptionally courteous and the Doctor who attended me was highly knowledgeable. I will always take my urgent care needs to this clinic. It's so much better than sitting in an ER and hoping for a positive outcome. Don't even hesitate if you have an urgent medical problem.....this IS your best choice! Dr.Derek R. Moore

I am so pleased and can't say enough good things about our local Baycare Urgent Care (Largo). I've been a loyal Baycare customer for many, many years. Yes, I am a patient but I am also your customer and can take my business anywhere I like and you are in fact, a business. I was very sick, needed a chest x-ray to ensure I was not developing pneumonia and Baycare Outpatient not only wouldn't take me, they were very unsympathetic, had no desire to help me, just wanted to push me off and told me to go to the ER which would've cost me over $1,000 instead of $100, were snarky and didn't give a hoot what happened to me. (Yes, I will be writing a 1-star review for them as well.) This urgent care took me in, treated me, x-rayed me, were smart, empathetic and I felt so relieved I was now with people who knew what they were doing, cared and were doing their best to take care of me. They prescribed medication and I am so much better today! You took such good care of me. Thank you!

Yes I was unable to see my physician as they were booked two days straight so the office told me to go to urgent care. I went last Friday and got there at 9:30 a.m. I was not seen until almost 3:00 pm in the afternoon. The doctor at least apologized after entering my room. I was unaware that to go to your urgent care you could get appointments online. Because I was a walk in I was put to the end of the list. I disliked the way they hold your license and insurance and don’t return it to you in a timely manner. Those should be scanned right away and given back to patients. Sad we have to ask for them back. Urgent has never been an ER. There is a difference and when someone walks in and says “ they believe they’re having a stroke”. They should have gone to an ER. It’s always been that an urgent care is where you go if your doctor is unable to see you now your seen last there because they hold the right to do their schedule based on order of severity of symptoms- that’s just unfair. I suffered a bad earache and waited four hours to be seen there. Just unacceptable and I will never go there again. Baycare has always been great. This was terrible to wait four hours. Urgent care should never take the place of an emergency room but that’s what there doing now. Bad practices.

I believe so. Call then first though. They can sometimes call other scripts in over the phone or give advice. Feel better soon!

They will write scripts if appropriate. In one instance, they gave me a few sample meds.
