Just another scam nonprofit. Just worried about enriching themselves. Waste of time. Believe all the one star ratings.

It's my job! I love the people, the work we do and our causes!

This is a non-profit and the impression that I have gotten is that they are working extremely hard with the limited resources they have, fighting for the rights of people who can't fight for themselves. After meeting several of the people that work here and seeing how hard they work and how passionate they are about the rights of their clients and people with disabilities in general I personally find the negative reviews questionable, although I don't know the full story behind them.

Hello Dianne, I am not an attorney so I can't offer any legal advice and do not have enough info about your situation to provide sound advice. What state do you live in? Each state has a disability advocacy agency, and I suggest reaching out to the agency in your state. If it's NC, I can provide the contact info after the holidays. Thanks.
