Took me about 5 minutes total. There was no line . The kiosk is on the inside of the grocery store . It is by the left entrance next to the lotto ticket machine. Way easier than going to the dmv. I went for renewal . You need the renewal form or your license plate number and the last 5 numbers of your Vin.

Yes just need you renewal paperwork or registration and can get tags as long as it's a simple transaction.
I am not sure about that, I believe you need to go into the DMV or if you are a member of AAA, but I would call AAA first.
