So I’ve been going to the clinic for about a month and a half now. The first impression was TERRIBLE. It literally took me from 6am until maybe 11am to get through all the paperwork before they would give me any meds. After the initial appointment though, it’s pretty convenient.. you walk in.. maybe wait 5 minutes for tops then they open the door for you and you see the nurse who then gives you your meds, and then you are out 5 minutes later. The other issue I have is that online it says they close at 2:30pm. So I assumed that meant I could go get my meds up until 2:30pm.. mind you I had no meds left because they dose you and refill you the day you go in.. I got there at about 1:40pm and they told me that they close at 1:30pm- but the office is open until 2:30pm. I think they should have disclosed that information to me during my intake, so I was not turned away, and left without meds for the day. And it’s okay 1:30pm SHARP. If you call and say hey I’m running late, I’ll be there 1:35pm they say no sorry you have to go sick without your meds until the next day. No compassion. Also the guy who like manages the place or is in charge of making sure the patients are in line is a total idiot, and is probably the most ridiculous, rudest man I’ve ever met. He stands there barking orders like he runs the place to people who aren’t even doing anything that serious. During my intake, there was a guy who was sick off dope and needed his meds- he was trying to get through the 5 hours of paperwork too, he was from Lompoc and was trying to let his ride know when he would be done but his phone was dying. The guy who thinks he runs the place refused to let him charge his phone, so they poor guy who was sick left half way through the intake dope sick, phone dead, no ride, (he probably ended up having no choice but to cop drugs after that, if he could even get them) Moral of the story, they don’t give af!!

I went here for a courtesy & I wish this was my everyday clinic. The staff treat their patients like real people & are mentally supportive. The facility is clean & comfortable. The service was terrific & quick. Kristen especially is an awesome, friendly person that is very helpful & I would love to deal with her again. I would definitly recommend this clinic above all others that I've been to.

Aegis treatment centers have turned my life around. Complete 180. I don't think I could have gotten off of heroin with Aegis. I would recommend this program to anyone struggling with opiate addiction. There r a couple areas that can be improved. Couseling for instance. I get a different counselor about every 6 months. Seems like when I get comfortable with a counselor they leave. The counselor I have now let's her personal feels get in the way of being neutral. So I dont trust her. So over all NRT has worked for me since 2008.

Yes I think it's covered under that policy
How can i answer this question without ever having heroin withdraws. Have you ever felt like you were really HOT! WHEN ITS COLD OUTSIDE. Hot flashes is a other way of looking at it. So imagine that feeling. Also have you ever had the flu were you just cant eat or drink anything. Its as much mental then it is physical. its the physical part that make individuals act not them selfs. Believe it or not its almost instant as soon as the individul uses there fix. Feel so horrible but healed so quickly. Thats why its such an addicting drug that captures peoples souls. So unfortunate.
