I paid 1000$ of deposit, then paid another 80$ for an electric bike one day pass. I start using the bike and after 20 minutes it says there no battery. I call the emergency number they tell you to call at the counter. To which I revive no answer even after calling 3 times. The bike continues to not work throughout the day. Keep in mind it’s electric so it’s also heavier than you think. San Francisco is basically just up-hill so the whole day I had to find a way to get this bike that’s not working back to the shop. I had to push the bike all the way back to the store ,(80-100 pound )up-hill. I finally get to the store and I explain the issue to the guy that works there. Demanding a refund for the bike that did not work. ( we had two bikes, the other one was decent) The worker said that we could not get a refund, then he gives us an email ( we asked him to write it down to make sure that the spelling was correct to insure that no mistake was made on our part). He gave us a fake email, they took advantage of two young people. So disgusting. There are so many better options, don’t go here they just want to steal your money. .I called the following day ( today) I spoke with the manager. She was the rudest human alive, not helpful, clearly they just don’t care about being efficient they just want money. She hanged up the phone in my face, just so you understand the level of rudeness this woman had in her.

First of all, the initial probelm was that we paid an e-bike for the entire day and they gave us an e-bike that was not properly functioning and we had to carry it by hand till the bike shop after 4 hours and we stopped for 1.30 which was enough for the bike to recharge but since it was not working that didn't happen. we call the assistance number which was not available and couldn't connect the call. we get to the shop and we ask for a refund or for a partial refund since the bike was not working and the number was not working either and they told us to send an email and they gave us a fake email cause they knew that we were gonna ask for a refund or something. so rude, unprofessional and really take into advantage the facts that you have two young people in front of you is so rude and disrespectful

Charged us 4h while we were waiting for our bikes for 30min and used overall less than 3hours. Very unfair. The service to get the bikes was slow and we had a problem with the seat of one of the 2 bikes so a 30min was lost on the rent. Even after explaining that we were charged the 4h while we actually really used the bike for 3hours. If you go there make sure the time is te correct one and that the staff find you in the database quickly enough to avoid charging time for their own administration and not for using the bikes. Bikes are in very bad conditions. Advises to choose an other option than this rental.

Rented the bikes at 1230 pm and then biked the Golden Gate then back to the hotel; the next morning we biked down Lombard Street and dropped them back by 1200 the next day. Now we can brag about biking down the longest crookest street in America and across the most iconic bride of America.
