First time at Kuumbwa saw Martin Courtney of Real Estate. Excellent acoustics and friendly staff. And not a bad seat in the house.

Great place to have an intimate interaction with the performers. Went to see SonoMusette, songs of Edith Piaf and 20th Century Paris. Wonderfully enchanting and all extremely talented musicians

So great to be with other humans(they have their moments). Irish comedy show. Every thing was going well till the last... drunk patron made it about her (suggest convo with therapist) Sean tried to turn it around .Venu really great. So nice to see live acts. Thank you soooo much.

They have a website. I'm not sure. Their shows are mostly jazz. Not a particular favorite of mine.

How do I reserved seating? When I buy my tickes?

The venue is often general admission but the first few rows of seats have a small table for the beer wine and snacks on sale there. Sometimes the first few rows are priced higher than the remaining seats but there is a good view and good sound throughout. It's an intimate setting with excellent accustics.

I noticed a Kuumbwa jazz camp but it is for 8 the grade and up, is there anything at all for a 9 year old girl Saxophone player in the Santa Cruz area?

Unfortunately you have to be 12-18 for kuumbwa's jazz camp. The music departments at Cabrillo and UCSC have summer music programs and may have something you can get into. Calling is probably best because they may also know of similar events in the region
