Loved it! We were looking for some dessert before heading back home and hubby found this place. There was line when we got there. (That's a good sign.) We didn't wait very long and we got our orders right away. I couldn't make up my mind between chocolate sorbet and verve coffee so I end getting both. And both were yummers by the way. Hubby got the coconut plum and it was also excellent. The ice creams are not overwhelming sweet. This place is worth checking out.

There are several good ice cream spots in Santa Cruz. Penny ice creamery is one of my favorites. Their selection of vegan ice cream‘s very small but their chocolate is very good and if they have raspberry sorbet I would highly encourage you to try it. I do have a nice toasted marshmallow topping but you might want to try as well. It can get very busy at night so be prepared to stand in a line

Such a delight! I had the Tahitian Vanilla Bean with toasted marshmallow fluff — what an experience! Very friendly staff and excellent quality ice cream. A bit on the sugary/very sweet side, but it’s ice cream 😜🍦

My urge to have some ice cream and my wife's craving for Marsh mellow made us end up at this place. The place was cozy and the staff was very friendly and comforting. They made it very easy for us to select exactly what we wanted. We both ended up with the burnt Marsh Mello topping which is definitely my recommendation for the toppings. The ice cream was of great quality and we both enjoyed our flavors.
