On May 29th, we brought home our German Sheppard puppy from Mila & Jeff, Velknerhaus German Shepherds, that we named Bentley. He definitely is an amazing puppy and we are totally in love with the little fella. We have waked him with a leash and he heels naturally. He can also stay and sit on command. He is close to retrieving. He plays in the front and back yard and is able to go to the “bathroom” on his own. He has a mild temperament, but has already shown that he is ready to protect his family. He is infatuated with our four-year old granddaughter and they play constantly. We can’t say enough about Jeff & Mila’s knowledge and care for not only the puppies, but for the puppy’s future owners. They are a wealth of information and if you have questions, they respond in a timely manner with compassion in their tone. You will be pleasantly happy choosing Jeff & Mila as the breeder of your future baby. They will be there for you throughout your puppy’s life.

We’ve had a hassle-free experience getting our beautiful German Shepherd puppy from Velknerhaus! The newest member of our family has a very calm temperament but also very protective. He is only a couple months old old and we’ve only had him for a few days but he’s already displaying his commitment to protecting us - Jeff mentioned to us that our dog will never let anyone near us unless we allow it and he is absolutely correct! Additionally, we feel reassured given that our puppy was under Jeff and Mila’s care before bringing him home. Jeff is a vet tech and quite knowledgeable about German Shepherds and dogs in general, so he’s been able to answer all of our questions. When you speak with him, it is quite evident that he is very passionate about what he does. We are so appreciative that he offered us his personal phone number so that we can call him anytime in the event we encounter issues with our puppy. And Mila is just wonderful. She sent me photos of our puppy while he was still under their care and she tirelessly share resources for our puppy’s needs —from food, to treats, to supplements, vitamins, meds, you name it! We are quite happy with our puppy and we feel reassured that we can go to Jeff and Mila for help and questions. When we are ready for our puppy’s brother, we will definitely go back! We highly recommend Velknerhaus German Shepherd!
