Extremely impressed with everything about this place! Mateo and all of the staff are so warm and welcoming. Everything is organic, healthy, and environmentally friendly which is amazing! The space is very calm and relaxing and does not feel like a dreadful salon. There’s palo santo burning, crystals in bowls, and smooth-vibe music playing throughout. Mateo is very knowledgeable and good with communication. Angel did a fantastic job on color. Ashanti was wonderful with styling. All the stylist and the receptionist were so kind friendly and fun. It never felt draining and I happened to have 7 hours of hair booked lol. It’s a great location with yummy food nearby and a nice outdoor area. They were very accommodating with a private call I had to take while there, as well as fitting me in a schedule that worked for me. Above and beyond! I highly recommend if you’re wanting to give your hair some true love without being harsh to it. If you care about the environment as well as the energy of the place you visit, then this is the space for you! The name let’s you know they will be perfectionist lol enjoy !

A spiritual journey of hair alchemy and nurturing relaxation. I had my hair cut by Alanna who is an experienced, easy-going, beautiful grounding soul that made me feel at home. Mateo washed and textured my hair to prep it for air dry. I have to tell you I have never experienced someone touching, washing and intuitively knowing what my hair needed like Mateo did. It was really beautiful to experience The Virgo hair salon. I I feel like I found the perfect salon for me. I highly recommend this gem, as it is a rare and luminous one.

Mateo was great! I donated my hair and went for a very low maintenance, short hair cut to accentuate my natural curl pattern and accommodate to the endless summer Los Angeles is experiencing. The space was clean, well-lit, relaxing. The staff was very professional and kind. The location is convenient and small-business friendly. Looking forward to the next time!
