This has been our corner neighborhood ramen joint for a while. Reliable, good, friendly but not exciting. Until this time, when we came by accident because Curryfornia was once again closed by 7 pm. There's still a couple tables outside which is greatly appreciated. Our server Mika who we hadn't seen before has brought the level of service and energy up a couple notches. I asked for the difference between two similar looking noodles on the menu and got the hot tip to add butter to the mazesoba. Holy cow, so much wasted time looking for good garlic noodles in the area when this was the best tasting one we've had. This place just jumped up several levels in places we can walk to and eat outside. The combo deals are now available at night and made a great appetizer/bit of vegetables and greens for your meal. Late night happy hour with drink deals.

Wife found this place while visiting. Small, easy to miss joint but the food is SO GOOD! Firstly, service was very good - the staff was so friendly, there was a slight language barrier but not an issue at all. The menu is not too intimidating: small menu but what we got did not disappoint. Started w/ duck app that was very flavorful. Really enjoyed the KOSOBA JOSUI/SHOYU RAMEN: what a great garlic broth! Also had the MISO ramen that was layered and nuanced in its flavor. This place is GOOD.

Excellent ramen place. Great prompt service. Had the Signature Josui Ramen. The broth is flavored just right, with a rounded mouth feel. The added egg we ordered is not tamago but cooked to perfection with the egg white having a bouncy texture and the yolk medium rare. Highly recommend!

Good ramen, good flavor and many add-on options, decently priced. Definitely worth trying out if you've never been. Quality has dropped a bit since it's grand opening but to be expected. Still a decent option for a sit-down ramen shop.
