A series is important because it take time for the skin to turn over. Sun damage, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation and clogged pores don't just happen over night and it won't disappear with just one peel. A series is performed over the course of several weeks. Generally, we do a peel once every two weeks. However, if the skin is not ready for another peel we can wait for a third week. The peels will stimulate cells to turn over which will help with the appearance of sun damage and hyperpigmentation. Over time we will see a gradual improvement and a more even appearance, clearer skin, and a smoother texture.
