This is a fantastic social and budget option to stay in LA. The staff were so friendly and were constantly on hand and keeping the place running. Meeting all the new people there is a great experience and I recommend it to everyone. A couple of things were run down like furniture, and a door fell off the shower. The toilets also need to be extended, because as a 6'2 man I had no room to do anything. Their was a bigger toilet next to the living room however, I used this as soon as I remembered it existed. Overall I had a great time here and would go again.

I stayed there 2 nights but almost didn’t come back for the second one. John was very nice during the tour of the location but it was never precised that they have rats/ mice on the premise and one of them got me up all night chasing it away. I ended up in the morning tired, With a hole in my bag that the rat managed to do to reach through my stuff. When I talked to the person in charge in the morning, she didn’t even look at me as she was on her phone and finally said « sorry we should have let you know » which is very limited…. I will not recommend !

All the furniture is broken or falling apart, there is no proper place to eat your meal. Tables are dirty. The dish sponges are really old and gross, unsanitary. The top blankets and bunks are filled with BED BUGS. They did not exterminate. Instead they blast the cabin at 120° and overheat your electronics. Mentally ill people are long time guests who attack traveling guests. On my last night I saw a rat in the back kitchen. There is no ac The doors are always open. Bugs and squirrels get in frequently. Bathrooms are dirty and tiny and not private Modern day slavery they "pay employees" room and board with $100 food voucher. Employees work 3-6 days. Podshare makes about $40k/month.
