Jesus Christ the wait is crazy, they only have 1 pharmacist serving 30 people smh, wouldn’t it be smart to have 3 pharmacist for pick up? Or if the line gets long like it always do isn’t it common sense for the rest of the workers to stop what their doing to help all these customers on line?

I called multiple times over the past week to get more information/updates about a prescription the pharmacy couldn’t fill right away because the medication was out of stock. Each time I called, I waited 15 minutes or longer on hold just to speak to a staff member—often, when they finally picked up, they couldn’t answer my question and then proceeded put me BACK on hold to go ask one of their colleagues. This turned into me waiting an extra 10+ minutes for them to get back. After DAYS of waiting for them to get my medication back in stock, I called again to ask if they had an update (they had told me days earlier that they’d send me a text or give me a call to tell me I could pick up my prescription once they got the shipment in). As usual, I had to wait 25 minutes for someone to pick up, and, when they did, they put me on hold again almost immediately to go check on whatever…lo and behold, the medication had come in but they never bothered to contact me. It shouldn’t fall on the customer to continually call and call CVS about the meds they need when they were expressly told by pharmacy staff that they would be notified BY CVS when the shipment came in. At this time, I’ve gone days without a necessary medication simply because CVS staff couldn’t be bothered to fulfill their most foundational job duties. Presuming these kinds of issues could be absolved by 1) training pharmacy staff properly and/or 2) requiring the head pharmacist to undergo management training, maybe people wouldn’t have the same problems with this CVS. I’ll most definitely be changing my pharmacy.

If I could give this Pharmacy no stars I would. I’ve been calling and been on hold for over 2 hours to confirm or not if I can pick up my daughters medication at this location since the 161st street location is now closed. I don’t want to risk going and no one can help. If I do get transferred to the pharmacy they just hang up every time. Like how unprofessional is that.

Horrible young male of color (wears glasses) refused to allow me in the store 1 min post catorce closure. I explained I was car stranded, lived far and just needed to get a car battery. No compassion whatsoever. I also asked another man who …
